What does that have to do with furniture and textiles? Well, quite a lot. Sang and Serena Company, L.L.C. was born after a chance encounter with an artist-entrepreneur that occurred while the pair was traveling in India. A working relationship with this contact was thence created with the intention of supporting he and his art school’s traditional craft-making skills and bringing the products of their artisanship to North America and beyond.

The one-of-a-kind pieces are completely handmade and derived from natural materials, thus making the process an easy one on the Earth. To complete the trilogy, the pieces are also beautiful and of great value — potential heirlooms to be passed on, much like the centuries-old artistry and stories that linger within the pieces themselves.
